The EXHIBITION
Youth Art Month
March 9 - April 6, 2023
YAM is a blind judging and there is a different judge for each competition. They critiqued works based on creativity, originality and overall presentation.
This year we have a total of 170 pieces shown in our galleries and we do hope that everyone will take the time to come by and celebrate the skill and dedication of our county's students!
The school system competition was judged based on the following categories: 6th-7th; 8th-9th; 10th-12th. There are 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners from each category and one overall winner was selected for Best in Show.
The Kiwanis Competition was judged for each grade level. There are 1st-3rd place winners for 6th - 12th grade. There is one overall Best in Show winner and each 1st place winner will be submitted to the Kiwanis District Competition.
The Best in Show winners were selected from all the judge's first place winners and were stated as being the best of best!
